Khoe Hue Beṯe Kī Misaal

Iṅjeel : Luqaas 15:11-32

Īsā(a.s) ne kahā, “Ek ādmī ke do beṯe the.(11) Cẖoṯe beṯe ne apne waalid se kahā, ‘Jaaydaad me se mujhe merā hissā de deejie.’ To unke waalid ne jaaydaad ke do hisse kar ke apne donoṅ beṯoṅ me baraabar baaṅṯ diye.(12) Cẖoṯā beṯā apnā hissā le kar wahaaṅ se chalā gayā. Wo bahut dur kisī dusre mulk me jā kar bas gayā. Wahaaṅ usne apne paisoṅ ko ayyaashī me uḍā diyā.(13) Uske paas jo bhī thā wo usne ḳḥarch kar diyā. Wahaaṅ par baarish nā hone kī wajah se sukhā paḍā aur pure mulk me khaane kā akaal paḍ gayā. Cẖoṯe beṯe ko bhukh lagī thī aur usko paisoṅ kī bhī zarurat thī.(14) Usko wahaaṅ ke ek ādmī ke yahaaṅ kaam mil gayā. Us ādmī ne usko maidaan me suaroṅ ko khaanā khilaane bhejā.(15) Usko itnī zyaadā bhukh lagī thī ki uskā suaroṅ kā khaanā khaane kā dil kar rahā thā.(16) Jab us beṯe ko ehasaas huā ke wo kitnā baḍā bewaquf hai, tab usne sochā, ‘Mere waalid ke naukroṅ ke paas bahut khaanā hai, lekin maiṅ yahaaṅ bhukh se marā jā rahā huṅ.(17) Maiṅ yahaaṅ se apne waalid ke paas chalā jaauṅgā. Maiṅ unse kahuṅgā: Abbā jaan, maine āpke aur Allaah taa’alā ke ḳḥilaaf gunaah kiyā hai.(18) Maiṅ is laayaq naheeṅ ki āp mujhe apnā beṯā kaheṅ islie āp mujhe apne naukar kī tarah samjhie.’(19) To us beṯe ne wo jagah cẖoḍī aur apne waalid se milne nikal paḍā.

“Apne beṯe ko waalid ne dur se hī ātā dekh liyā. Unheṅ us par bahut taras āyā. Wo us se milne ke liye dauḍ kar pahuṅche aur usko gale lagā kar pyaar kiyā.(20) Beṯe ne kahā, ‘Abbā jaan, maine āpke aur Allaah taa’alā ke ḳḥilaaf gunaah kiyā hai, maiṅ is laayaq naheeṅ ki āp kā beṯā kahalaauṅ.’(21) Lekin uske waalid ne apne naukroṅ se kahā, ‘Jaldī karo! Isko sabse behatreen kapḍe lā kar pahanaao. Iskī uṅglī me ek aṅguṯhī pahanaao aur pairoṅ me jute.(22) Aur sabse moṯe bacẖḍe ko zibaah karo taaki ham log daawat kareṅ aur jashn manā sakeṅ!(23) Merā beṯā mar chukā thā, lekin ab wo phir se ziṅdā ho gayā hai! Wo kho gayā thā, lekin ab mil gayā hai!’ Aur wo sab ḳḥushī manaane lage.(24)

“Us waqt baḍā beṯā khet me hī thā. Jab wo ghar ke qareeb pahuṅchā, to usne ghar se naach-gaane kī āwaazeṅ ātī suneeṅ.(25) Usne apne ek naukar ko bulā kar pucẖā, ‘Ye sab kyā ho rahā hai?’(26) Us naukar ne bataayā, ‘Āpkā bhaaī lauṯ āyā hai. Āpke waalid ne moṯe bacẖḍe ko daawat ke liye zibaah kiyā hai kyuṅki āpkā bhaaī sahī salaamat ghar lauṯ āyā hai!’(27) Baḍe beṯe ko ye sab sun kar ġussā ā gayā aur wo us daawat me naheeṅ gayā. To uske waalid baahar ā kar us ko aṅdar chalne ke liye manaane lage.(28) Us beṯe ne apne waalid se kahā, ‘Maiṅ kitne saaloṅ se ġulaamoṅ kī tarah āpkī ḳḥidmat kar rahā huṅ? Maine hameshā āpkā hukm maanā hai, lekin āp ne kabhī mere liye jawaan bakre ko bhī zibaah naheeṅ kiyā taaki maiṅ apne dostoṅ ko daawat de sakuṅ.(29) Lekin āpkā dusrā beṯā jo āpkī saarī daulat ko ayyaashī me uḍā detā hai aur wo jab ghar waapas ātā hai to āp uske liye moṯe-taaze bacẖḍe ko zibaah karte haiṅ!’(30)

“Uske waalid ne jawaab diyā, ‘Mere beṯe, tum hameshā mere paas the aur jo bhī mere paas hai wo tumhaarā hai.(31) Hamko ḳḥushī manaanī chaahie ki tumhaarā bhaaī jo mar chukā thā, ab ziṅdā ho gayā hai. Wo kho gayā thā, lekin ab mil gayā hai.’”(32)
